A SOUTH Essex train line is 'blocked' and multiple trains could be cancelled as a result.
c2c has confirmed that the Barking service is blocked due to an electricity supply failure.
A reason for the failure has not been confirmed but c2c has stated that it could possibly be due to overhead line damage.
Barking services via Rainham going towards London are unable to run due this this incident.
As a result, trains running across the whole of the c2c network may be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes, or revised.
Allegedly, there are passengers stuck on trains at the moment due to this issue.
Disruption is expected to last until 5pm today.
More as we get it.
