TWO men have been charged with making fake banknotes after police officers raided a workshop.
Essex Police raided a rental industrial workshop in Cranfield Park Road, Wickford, on Tuesday as part of a joint investigation with the National Crime Agency.
The probe, which is being led by the police force’s serious economic crime unit, centres around intelligence relating to counterfeit £20 notes being sold on and laundered into profits.
