'Severe delays' on A127 after reports of crash in south Essex (Image: Essex County Council traffic control)
A MAJOR south Essex road has been partially blocked this evening rush hour after reports of a crash.
One lane is blocked on the A127 Southend-bound due to a crash at the Rayleigh Weir, according to Essex County Council's traffic control.

There are reports of long delays back to Nevendon as well as long delays on the A130 approaching the A127.
The incident was first reported after 5pm.
AA reports there are "severe" delays on the A127 which are beginning to ease.
