AN EXTRA date has been added to a sold-out hit show based on the cherished Only Fools and Horses sitcom as it stops at Southend this year.
Following a record-breaking four-year run in London’s West End, the 10-month tour kicks off later this year as it travels to more than 30 towns and cities across the country, including Southend.
Based on John Sullivan’s legendary sitcom, the production features material from Britain’s best loved series - with a script and original score written by John’s son, Jim Sullivan, and comedy star Paul Whitehouse.
The Trotters will be coming to Cliffs Pavilion from September 30 to October 5 - with another date announced this week due to popular demand.
This huge Only Fools and Horses The Musical tour will feature Del Boy, Rodney, Grandad, Cassandra, Raquel, Boycie, Marlene, and all the gang - with Whitehouse to star as Grandad.
Audiences will also enjoy musical contributions from the iconic Chas and Dave, the beloved theme tune "as you have never heard it before", and an array of new songs full of character and cockney charm.
Tickets are on sale now for the additional performance on Thursday, October 3 at 2.30pm.
These are selling fast, so theatre-goers are urged to book now at eu1.hubs.ly/H08Tr4M0.
