A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery on Canvey.
Essex Police were called to reports of a robbery at a shop in High Street, Canvey, at around 7pm on May 21.
During the incident, a man entered the High Street shop and threatened a woman with a knife and ordered her to open the till.

A three-figure sum was taken.
Essex Police say a man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery.
Taylor Love, 33, of Ambleside Walk, Canvey, has been charged with robbery and threatening a person with a blade in a public place.
He is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “Anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to us should get in touch as soon as possible.
“Please cite incident 989 of 21 May.”
