MCDONALD’S has confirmed when one of its restaurants in Southend will re-open after a redesign.
The fast food outlet at Airport Retail Park is re-opening its doors at 11am on Thursday after a revamp which promises to deliver a better customer experience.
The ambitious revamp combines a new layout with the latest technology, which McDonald’s says will create a “more seamless and enjoyable” experience.
Staff areas have also been redesigned to make the restaurant more relaxing and comfortable for the team.
Rav Sandhu, who owns and operates four McDonald’s restaurants in the city, said: “I’m proud to re-invest in our Airport Retail Park restaurant - especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year.
“The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers leading to a better experience for everyone.
“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of the restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our staff who have all been very complementary about the redesign behind the scenes that will help make their jobs a little easier.”
