A LOVING dad “will miss out on his children’s future” after a series of failures led to his death at Southend Hospital.

The family of Aaron Deeley, from Canvey, “are still numb” after the dad-of-four’ heartbreaking death in January 2022 following a fall from a second-floor window.

The dad, 43, left behind his loving wife Michelle, and children, Hunter, Alexis, Destiny, and Jason.

His family say it is a tragedy “they will have to live with forever”.

Me Deeley’s father-in-law, Dwayne Leech, said: “We are still numb with the loss of our beloved Aaron.

“Aaron was a generous and kind-hearted man. He was a private person who loved and cared for his family circle, wife, kids, mother, and father-in-law.

“He would help other with anything. He was respected by many people who knew him.

“He took care of himself, fitness wise, was a doting father, and loved listening to Elvis Presley.

“It is a tragedy that we have to live with, and the loss and pain will never mend even with time passing.

“Aaron will miss out on his children’s futures and accomplishments.

“We take solace that he is with his mum and younger sister again.

At the time, Mr Deeley had worked as a supervisor at Sainsbury’s and Poundland in Basildon, before taking time off to become his wife’s carer.

Michelle’s sister, Louise Collins, described Mr Deeley as an “amazing dad” and truly “one in a million”.

She added: “We are truly devastated with the loss of Aaron.

“He was an amazing man, dad and husband to my sister. He was always there for me, even taking me to get my first car.

“He was honestly one in a million.

“He leaves behind his four children, which has destroyed their future. We are glad to have had such a wonderful man in our family.

“The hospital let you down, Aaron. I can never believe or understand how they left you alone. We miss you.”
