A MUCH-LOVED bar in Southend has announced its closure as bosses plan an “unforgettable” party.

Revolution Southend, in Queens Road, will close for the final time on Saturday after seven years in the city.

The popular venue is a bar known for a great night out, with expertly mixed cocktails and good music.

The closure reportedly comes as Revolution Bars Group restructure the business and announce a number of closures across the UK.

Revolution Southend will be hosting an “unforgettable” closing party on Saturday to mark the “end of an era”.

In a statement on Facebook, Revolution Southend said: “Announcement.

“We have loved shaking cocktails and throwing epic parties with you for seven years, but sadly we will be closing our doors on Saturday the 8th.

“We wanted to extend an enormous thank you for joining the Revolution party over the years and will really miss being part of the community.

“It would be rude to not go out with a bang. We would love you to join us for one final farewell for what is sure to be a night to remember.”
