A line-up of food and drink producers has been announced for a new craft drinks and music festival in Southend this summer.
The event will bring a collection of notable craft drink producers from Essex, east London, and the South East together at Southend's Priory Park from July 26 to July 28.
Lazydays has also partnered with Leigh Brewery to launch the new drink Lazy Haze, which is already available in multiple venues across Southend and Essex.
Festivalgoers will also get to sample varieties from a range of independent craft producers, accompanied by a strong music line-up.
Prominent players in craft production, including Essex Spirit Co, Duration, Copper Rivet, Radio City Beer Works, and Kocktail will feature.
The event will also host Bianca Road Brew Co, These Days, Siren Craft Brew, Iford Cider, Long Shot, Gosnells’ Nectar, and the award-winning Leigh Brewery.
These craft drink producers will not just present their best preparations, but also enliven the festival with demonstrations, talks, tastings, and food experiences.
Among the spectacles, the crowd will be treated to 'boozy baking' with 2023 Great British Bake Off star Dana Conway.
Drinks will cater to a variety of tastes, including gluten-free, low or no alcohol, soft drinks, and fizzes.
The festival's official drink headliner is Signature Brewery, identified for their efforts to bring people together through unique experiences, fresh beer and vibrant music.
Known for their state-of-the-art brewery and music venue located at Blackhorse Road in London, Signature has brewed limited edition drinks with diverse musical groups.
Notably, they were named the Brewery of the Year in 2018 and 2021.
Signature Brewery will also captain a stage at Lazydays, presenting a rich repertoire of emerging talent from Essex and beyond.
Notably, the festival will feature performances from The Hoosiers, Craig Charles, Sundara Karma, David Rodigan, Sleeper, Mystery Jets, Newton Faulkner, The Futureheads, Girl Ray, DJ Yoda, The Cuban Brothers, Cosmo Pyke, and The Allergies.
Family centric afternoon sessions cater to children with activities like a children’s mocktail bar, while children aged 11 and under gain free admission.
Tickets, starting at £39.95, are still available at www.lazydaysfestival.com.
