PRINCESSES will be taking over a Southend theme park today for a day of "enchantment and magic".
Adventure Island, located on Western Esplanade, is hosting a special Princess Day this afternoon.
Families will have the opportunity to interact with their favourite princess characters, snap pictures and create lasting memories.
But the entertainment doesn't end there with various royal activities also planned.
A spokesperson for Adventure Island expressed eager anticipation, saying: "Get ready for a day of enchantment and magic.
"Come down and meet all your favourite princesses throughout the day from 12-5pm.
"Throughout the day, you will have the chance to interact with their favourite princesses and take photos.
"No booking is required for this magical event, just come long and join the fun.
"Adventure Island is ready to make your fairy-tale dreams come true."
