Traffic is queueing back to the M25 and surrounding roads after a crash on the A13 in south Essex.
The major road closed eastbound between the A126 and the A1012, near Lakeside shopping centre and retail park.
This is following a crash with a motorcycle, according to National Highways.
Emergency services including Essex Police are in attendance.

Delays are currently around 10 mins with one mile of congestion, but traffic is building.
A National Highways spokesman said: "A local diversion route is in place.
"If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey."
