c2c passengers are facing delays and cancellations after a vehicle hit a bridge between Shoebury and Southend Central.
A c2c spokesman said: "Due to a road vehicle colliding with a bridge earlier between Shoebury and Southend Central, services running across the whole network may be cancelled or delayed.
"Arriva Bus are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice."
The 4.30pm London Liverpool Street to Shoebury service has been cancelled as a result.
