A ROAD near Tarpots in Benfleet will be closed for five days, the council confirms.
Castle Point Council has announced that Hatley Gardens, in Benfleet, will close from July 15 for five days.
This is due to works being carried out by Essex County Council.
A spokesman for Castle Point Council said: "There will be a road closure on Hatley Gardens, due to commence on July 15 for five days.
"The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Essex County Council undertakes carriageway patching."
