THE line-up for Adventure Island's "bigger and better" summer festival celebrating the best of unsigned talent in the area has been revealed.

The Island Fest returns to the Western Esplanade attraction on Saturday, showcasing a variety of talent from in and around Southend.

The all-day arts festival will feature performances from a diverse line-up of bands, dancers, solo artists and DJs, as well as displays from talented artists, comedians and more from 12pm.

This includes DJ Alext, George Bone, Last of the Lizardmen, Ronan, Ruby Ambrose, Saving Peach, Serdipentious and Paradise Taxi.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation and their Spotlight Radiotherapy Appeal, helping to fund vital radiotherapy services.

Island Fest was first launched by the seafront theme park in 2021 as its first-ever festival.

Announcing the event, bosses said: "It will be a festival like no other that will be showcasing a variety of talent from in, and around, Southend. The day will include performances and displays from a variety of bands, singers, dancers, actors, artists, comedians and fashion designers.

"That’s right – we want to celebrate all the talent Southend has to offer."
