A man has had his watch stolen at knifepoint in a south Essex country park.
Essex Police are appealing for information following a robbery at Canvey Heights Country Park.
It was reported that a man in his 40s was approached by someone with a knife at around 8.30pm on Monday.
The man demanded the victim’s watch, which he then stole.
Officers say he has been described as white, of average height, and wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, dark-coloured tracksuit trousers and a black man bag across his chest.
He was riding a dark-coloured bike believed to be a mountain bike.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are appealing for information following a robbery at Canvey Heights Country Park.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference 42/93319/24."
