REGISTRATION is now open for a popular charity walk along Southend seafront.
The annual charity walk, Walk for Wards 2024, along Southend seafront, will take place on September 22.
The event, organised by the Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity, offers a family-friendly 7km stroll to raise funds for a ward, a hospital or the Spotlight Appeal.
It event is open to all, with family-friendly attractions and fancy-dress encouraged.
The Spotlight Appeal is aiming to raise £600,000 to purchase state-of-the-art radiotherapy equipment at Southend Hospital.
A spokesman for the Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity said: "Let’s really brighten up the seafront.
"This year we have new charity t-shirts in a variety of colours and sizes; these can be purchased when registering or on the day."
The event is free to enter, with a £25 sponsorship target.
