SOUTHEND’S Adventure Island's summer festival returned with a variety of talents performing on Western Esplanade.
The all-day arts festival featured performances from bands, dancers, solo artists and DJs, as well as displays from talented artists, and comedians from 12pm.
DJ Alext, George Bone, Last of the Lizardmen, Ronan, Ruby Ambrose, Saving Peach, Serdipentious, and Paradise Taxi were in attendance.
All proceeds from the event go towards the Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation and their Spotlight Radiotherapy Appeal, helping to fund vital radiotherapy services.
Island Fest was first launched by the seafront theme park in 2021 as its first-ever festival.
Announcing the event, bosses said: "It will be a festival like no other that will be showcasing a variety of talent from in, and around, Southend.
"The day will include performances and displays from a variety of bands, singers, dancers, actors, artists, comedians and fashion designers. That’s right – we want to celebrate all the talent Southend has to offer."
In 1976 the Miller family purchased the land out to the west and transformed the space into a fully-fledged amusement centre for the first time and in 1995 after a vast expansion, it was named Adventure Island.
