Here are the five adorable pups of the week in dire need of help finding their forever homes.

Cliff - A Border Collie

Cliff is a bundle of joy who is very friendly with everybody he meets. He can be a little nervous with new people, but if there is treat in sight, he will be your best friend for life.

Cliff loves his exploring adventures so will be a fantastic new addition to an active family.

Cliff is looking for a patient family who is willing to train him with his toilet duties. Cliff will be able to live with children of 14+ as he can be quite jumpy when excited.

Cliff must be the only dog within the home as he can be very enthusiastic with other dogs.

Otter - A Greyhound

Otter is a retired racer that is looking for her retirement-forever home.

Otter loves a fuss and is great with new people. She is full of beans and is much livelier than her fellow kennel friend, Solly. She is instantly friendly and loves to have a good play with her toys.

Otter will need to be with a family who is patient with training as Otter has not been housetrained, previously.

Solly - A greyhound

Solly is kennel friends with Otter, the two can be rehomed together but this is not a must.

Solly will need to be with a family who is patient with training as Solly has not been housetrained, previously. Solly will need somebody who is home majority of the day as he can get a little worried on his own. He can eventually be left alone, but this will need to be built up slowly.

He is instantly friendly and loves to have a good play with his toys. Solly travels well in the car which will be great when going on adventures with him. He enjoys a gentle cuddle and will be happy to snooze most of the day after a long and fulfilling walk.

Roxy - Staffie Cross

RoxyRoxy (Image: Dogs Trust Basildon)

Roxy is a sweet girl who is ready to search for her forever home. She can live with older teens aged 16 yrs and over who are comfortable around certain behaviours she shows.

She would need a secure private garden to explore in and burn off some of her energy. She can become overwhelmed in situations and would benefit from a quieter home and quiet walking routes whilst building up socialisation with other dogs. Roxy would need to be the only dog in the home but can have walking buddies.

Suki - German Shepherd

6-year-old Suki is a German Shepherd Cross who is a real sweetie once she gets to know you.

Sweet Suki is seeking an adult only home, preferable a female owner as she can be worried by men, although once a bond as been built she could be fine with a male owner. She is looking for a quiet with not many visitors, no visiting children and a home where she can get all the love and attention for herself.

Suki must be the only pet in the home as she is dog reactive and will need to be on lead and muzzled when out in public places. Due to her fear of men, she has been known to bark and lunge at them while out on a walk.

A rural location would suit her better with a low dog populated area. She will need access to her own secure private garden where she can explore and relax in without any distractions.
