A LUXURIOUS hotel in Southend is celebrating after being named as one of the “most stylish” in the UK in a prestigious list.
The Roslin Beach Hotel, on Thorpe Esplanade, ranked 19th in The Times list of the most stylish hotels by the beach and was the only Essex hotel to make the list.
The famous venue sits along the Southend seafront and overlooks the Thames estuary, offering visitors panoramic views of the sea and serves as a popular choice for retreats, weddings and celebrations, corporate meetings, and cherished family vacations.
Jacqui Dallimore, owner of the hotel, says she is “absolutely delighted” that the hotel has been honoured in the list.
She said: “It’s wonderful to be chosen as one of the coolest and most stylish restaurants. I love it and I am so happy.
“To be the only Essex hotel in the list is a great honour and I am absolutely delighted that we are listed along with so many other great places.
“I think what has really led to our success and set us apart is the investment that we have put into our space and the amazing team of more than 140 staff that we have.
“I have a brilliant team that want everyone to always have the best time and that makes the difference. Our staff is fantastic and they always try to make sure that everyone feels their best.
“To add to it, we have the most amazing location overlooking the sea. We have really invested a lot in making it look beautiful and when you sit there you really feel like you’re on holiday.”
The Times has described the Roslin hotel as “pure Florida” as it praised the venue’s “calming” decor.
The venue remains a favourite among customers and has more than 2,000 five star reviews on Trip Advisor.
Peter Ayling, a frequenter of the hotel, said: “I’ve been staying there two nights a week for the last six years and I can’t praise the place enough. The staff, the food, the vibes, it’s all second to none.”
Jacqui thanked the customers for their continuous support.
“Everyone who comes here says it feels like home and we look forward to welcoming them home again,” she said.
“A big thank you to all our customers.”
