Here are the four adorable pups of the week at Basildon's Dogs Trust in need of loving forever homes.
Rocky, a German Shepherd
Rocky is a bouncy three-year-old German Shepherd ready to find his forever home. This loving and cuddly boy can live with children over the age of 14 who are used to big dogs who are strong on the lead. He loves his treats which will work as a great tool for all his training. Due to some reactive behaviour to dogs when he's out and about, Rocky will need to be muzzled and on lead in public. However, he would benefit from ongoing dog socialisation.
Benji, a crossbreed
Six-year-old Benji has been unlucky in love and is super keen to find his new home. He needs a quiet adult-only home with a maximum of two people and minimal visitors. In previous homes he was playful, settled well at night and enjoyed training and his walks. Benji is housetrained, walks nicely on the lead and loves running around so access to a secure private garden is needed as this will give him a place to be off lead and play.
Beau, a Labrador
history. He is currently enjoying his time with one of the rehoming centre's foster carers, where he has settled in amazingly well, is fully housetrained and loves fuss and affection. He can live with children over the age of 14 who are used to big dogs and must be the only animal in the home. Given the chance he will shower you with affection, and worm his way in to your heart.
Beautiful Beau is estimated to be a four to six-year-old Labrador cross, though he came to Dogs Trust with little previousCallie, a Saluki
Callie is a four-year-old Saluki who can be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you she is a real sweetheart. She is looking for a home with children aged 11 and above, as she has lived with children before and was good. While Callie must be the only pet in the home, she can have walking buddies. She is looking for a home with a private secure garden to help her with housetraining, and someone around most of the time to begin with.
