Police have thanked members of the public for their help after a missing Southend man was found.
An urgent appeal had been issued to find the man after he had last been seen on Southend seafront this afternoon.
Anyone who had seen him was urged to call police on 999.
Thankfully, he has now been found.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are pleased to confirm that [the man] who was missing from Southend has been found.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
