A motorcyclist in his 50s has tragically died after a serious collision in Essex.
Officers were called to the Clock Tower roundabout in Harlow at around 2.30pm yesterday following a crash involving a motorbike and car.
The A414 was partially closed from the roundabout to the Southern Way roundabout whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
Sadly, Essex Police has now confirmed the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, died at the scene.
The force say his family are aware and will continue to receive support.
Witnesses are being urged to come forward.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Officers are investigating a fatal collision on the A414 in Harlow yesterday.
"Detectives in the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses that might have more information or dashcam footage.
"Please cite incident 631 of 9 July."
