Venues in south Essex are preparing for what is promising to be one of their biggest weekends of the year as football fans enjoy England's Euros final.
England will play Spain in the final of the football tournament tomorrow at 8pm in Berlin, Germany.
Pubs across the country are hoping for a nearly £48 million boost, with landlords expecting to pour an extra 10 million pints from the pre-match build-up to the final whistle, British Beer And Pub Association chief executive Emma McClarkin says.
To help you choose which pub to watch the match in, we've picked out five of the best across south Essex (that don't appear to be fully booked) according to reviews.
The Fox & Hounds, Ramsden Heath
The Fox and Hounds pub and restaurant is a family-run pub set in the beautiful south Essex village of Ramsden Heath, near Billericay. A much-loved venue, the pub has 415 Tripadvisor reviews and an overall 5-star rating.
The pub has been showing England matches throughout the Euros and the atmosphere has been described as "buzzing", so Sunday is set to be no different.
One Google reviewer shared earlier this week: "Just watched England reach the Euros final and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing. Well done to all involved."
The Castlemayne, Basildon
The Castlemayne pub in Basildon hasn’t seen an empty seat since the Euros kicked off, with landlady Kelly Billett describing "music and dancing on the tables" as England won the semi-final on Wednesday.
The pub, at The Knares, is also home to the popular DB Shack which will be serving its delicious food to line football fans' stomachs from 3.30pm to 9pm, while Afro Jerk Cafe will be open all afternoon and evening from midday to midnight.
The Crooked Billet, Old Leigh
Of the many charming pubs along High Street in Old Leigh, the Crooked Billet is one of the top spots to watch the final, according to Visit Southend.
The pub is known for its great character and a warm and cosy atmosphere, as well as its beer garden that catches the sun really well.
Its website boasts: "Watch all the action live from Germany on the HD screens of our beautiful British pub in Leigh, The Crooked Billet. And nothing will be left on the bench, as you join the crowds with a hat-trick of classic pub food, chilled drinks packages, and good mates."
Woodcutters Arms, Leigh
Hailed the "outstanding pub of the year" and beating more than 500 other Craft Union-owned establishments in 2023, the Woodcutters Arms has been transformed by landlady Krystle Morgan and her staff.
The pub in Eastwood Road North is one of the top spots showing the final tomorrow, according to Visit Southend, and has a range of special offers available for customers while they watch the match.
The website states: "From our Euros passports, limited edition shots, and our own take on bottomless brunch with unlimited crisps 2 hours before or after Euros games, we are the number one place to enjoy Euros action in Leigh.
"Ask our fantastic team members for more information and let us make your Euros experience the best yet!"
The Victory Inn, Rochford
This Ashingdon Road pub is great for families with large garden and play area, and even better for a buzzing atmosphere to watch the Euros.
All the viewing table for tomorrow's game are booked, but the pub welcomes walk-ins who are advised to come early for the best view.
One Tripadvisor reviewer hails the pub the "best in Rochford", saying: "Dinner was lovely! Drinks were also quick and good value! Great staff and great atmosphere, so lucky to have this pub! Love coming here every time."
