A BOMB hoax which caused the evacuation of a business park has prompted police to arrest a 34-year-old man.
Police were called to Victoria Business Park in Short Street on Saturday after an unidentified bag was left at a commercial property by a suspect.
The incident meant police, fire, and ambulance services worked alongside the British Transport Police to set up a police cordon and evacuate surrounding properties.
Elsaid Omar, of no fixed abode, will appear before magistrates tomorrow charged with communicating a bomb hoax.
Omkar has been remanded in custody.
