POLICE have thanked members of the public after a boy who was reported missing from Southend has been found.

The 17-year-old boy was reported missing from the Southend area on May 31 and officers said they were "increasingly concerned for his welfare".

 

 He has now been found, Essex Police confirmed.

A spokesman for the force said: "Good news!

"[The boy] who was missing from the Southend area, has been located.

 "Thank you for sharing our appeal."
