A THRIVING 17th century south Essex pub is getting ready to welcome punters to the launch of their new barbecue this weekend.
The Punch Bowl, in Paglesham reopened at the start of the year after the Grade II-listed building was lovingly restored by Sally and Robbie Beaumont.
The pub has since gone from strength to strength and will launch their new barbecue on Saturday as part of the next step in their journey to becoming to becoming the quintessential country pub.
Visitors will be treated to the pub’s new barbecued fayre, rotisserie and summer drinks from the recently launched garden bar along with live entertainment and a bouncy castle for children.
Sally Beaumont said: “The barbecue and garden bar opens on Saturday and will be open every day, all summer long.
“We also have a huge calendar of summer events coming up, including a petting zoo, live falconry displays and more live events.
“Starting from Monday, the 22nd, we will be open seven days a week - there’s something for everyone.
“Customers can find out more about our upcoming events by visiting our Facebook and Instagram pages.”
