AN AIR ambulance was spotted flying over Southend and landing near a retail park in the city centre this morning.
The ambulance was spotted at around 10.30am and made its landing near Pets at Home at the London Road retail park and St Mary's Prittlewell Primary School in Boston Avenue.
The ambulance service has since confirmed the air ambulance was responding to a medical emergency at a private home.
