Two men have been charged as part of an investigation into the sale of drugs in south Essex.

The pair were arrested in St Marks Field and St Clare Meadow, Rochford on Monday, July 15.

This is part of an investigation by Essex Police's Op Raptor team into drug-related deaths in the Basildon area.

The men have now been charged.

Twenty year-old Daniel Koin, of no fixed address, and Adrian Nyanja, also 20, of Lowfield Street, Dartford, have now been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

Koin has also been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin.

They appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 17 and are next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on August 14.
