A POPULAR annual fun fair is returning to Chalkwell Park for its 80th anniversary this summer.
The fun-filled family attraction will have a mixture of both children’s and thrill rides, with new rides for 2024.
This year will feature crazy price days where all rides will cost just £1.50 - except the dodgems - on Thursday August 1, Monday August 5, Wednesday August 7 and Friday August 9.
The funfair will be running at the Chalkwell Avenue park from Thursday, August 1 until Saturday, August 10, opening daily between 1pm and 10pm.
Tickets on the gate will cost £1 for entry for adults and children over one metre, with all gate profits going to the Southend Mencap charity.
Mencap supports people with a learning disability in Southend, Castle Point, Rayleigh and Rochford.
