Essex and Suffolk Water are reportedly on the scene of a burst water main in Thorpe Bay as residents report having "no water".

Photos, seen by the Echo, show Station Road in Thorpe Bay, flooded with water after reports of a burst water main.

A number of residents have since turned to social media to report having no water or low pressure.

Some of the road names mentioned by residents on social media include Elm Road, Avon Way, West Road, and Caulfield Road, to name a few.

At this stage, the details on the burst water main and how long repairs could take are yet to be confirmed.

However, Essex and Suffolk Water has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
