Ferry Road Benfleet closure among latest public notices

Ferry Road, in Benfleet, will be closing from its junction with the High Street for five nights from Monday, August 12.

The closures will be in place between 10pm and 5am while Network Rail carry out rail bridge repair works.

An alternative route is available via Ferry Road, High Street, High Road, London Road, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, Canvey Way, Canvey Way Roundabout, Canvey Road – B1014, Ferry Road and vice versa.

 St Clements Road will also be shut in Benfleet on Monday, August 5 for one night while Anglian Water replaces inspection chamber covers.

The closure will be in place from its junction with London Road from 7pm until 11pm, with drivers diverted via London Road, Stanway Road, Lea Road and vice versa.

Jotmans Lane in South Benfleet is set to shut from its junction with High Road to its junction with Appleton Road on August 14.

This will be in place for one day while Essex and Suffolk Water undertakes frame and cover replacement works.

A diversion route will be available via High Road, Benfleet Park Road, Danesfield, and Appleton Road.

Essex and Suffolk Water frame and cover replacement works will also shut off Kennel Lane in Great Burstead and South Green on Tuesday, August 13.

The road will be closed from its junction with Hunters Avenue for one day with drivers diverted via Kennel Lane, Church Street, Noak Hill Road, Noak Hill Road Roundabout and vice versa.

Rectory Road is closing from its junction with Oaklands Mews in Hawkwell on Monday, July 29.

The road will be shut for two nights, between 10pm and 6am, while Network Rail undertakes bridge examination works.

A diversion route will be available via Rectory Road, B1013, Hall Road, Ashingdon Road and vice versa.
