THE newest addition to Southend Pier has been revealed ahead of its second summer party this weekend.

The Wacky Walk of Mirrors have been added to the 1.33-mile landmark which features classic fun house mirrors which distorts reflections - perfect for a fun family selfie.

This attraction has been unveiled just in time for the weekend of live music and cocktails at the world's longest pleasure pier's Summer Party Part II.

Sunday will feature stripped back acoustic vibes from The Chris Robson Band, The Daisy Bowlers, The Dusty Peddlers and more from The Record Department with DJ Daryl Easlea.

The event is free but the usual pier admission prices apply.

It comes as part of the council’s ambition to hold a minimum of six major events across the city each year and at least 20 weeks’ worth of events on the pier each year.
