A MAN'S quad bike was stolen after he was hit on the back of the head in a daylight robbery.
Police officers were called to Brook Road, in South Benfleet, following reports of a robbery last Tuesday at about 1pm.
The victim was riding a quad bike when he was approached by a man who hit him on the back of the head and pushed him off the quad bike and into the road.
The robber then drove off on the quad bike towards High Road while being accompanied by a man on a dirt bike.
Both suspects were wearing all black, including black face masks and black caps.
The stolen quad bike is described as painted in brown camouflage with a branch pattern on it.
The force is looking to anyone who may have information about the incident to come forward and help with the investigation.
