A MAN was threatened with a knife in an early morning robbery.
Police were called to Cherrydown East, outside Trafford House, in Basildon, just before 4am, today, July 27, after reports of a robbery.
The victim was approached by two men who threatened him with a knife and demanded his phone, credit cards and money.
The two suspects were black and wearing all dark clothing.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything between 3.30am and 4am in the area this morning to contact us.
