DRIVERS are facing "severe" delays on the A127 this afternoon as a "spillage" has shut off a lane in south Essex.
Traffic is queueing near Basildon as one lane has been closed due to "spillage" Southend-bound at the Fortune of War junction.

According to AA updates, there are severe delays on the major road between Halfway House roundabout and the Noak Bridge turn off.
An average speed of ten miles per hour is being reported.
