A ROAD between the A13 and A127 is set to partially close for almost a week as Essex County Council carry out repairs.
A stretch of Pound Lane, in Basildon, is to be closed temporarily for repairs next month.
The order will commence from August 12, 2024, for five days as Essex County Council carry out "parapet repairs".
The closure spans from Pound Lane's junction with the A127 to Harrow Road, a stretch of approximately 205m.
The road closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while parapet repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Southend Arterial Road, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To A132 Westbound, Nevendon Road Roundabout, East Mayne, East Mayne Roundabout Junction Cranes Farm Road, Courtauld Road, Burnt Mills Road, Pound Lane.
