A chance to meet your favourite characters is coming up, as a Southend-based theme park is set to host a Superhero weekend next month.
Adventure Island, in Western Esplanade, is hosting a Superhero Weekend on the 17th and 18th of August.
Visitors will be able to see their favourite superheroes and villains, who will be at the park all day.
A spokesman for Adventure Island said: "Feeling Super?
"Then why not join us for Superhero weekend. All your favourite superheroes, and villains, come down to Adventure Island Sealife Adventure, we would love you to join us.
"Grab your dancing shoes and superhero powers and join us on the greatest mission of all, our superhero treasure hunt around the park.
"Finish your day with some marvellous themed entertainment."
