Drivers are facing "severe" delays on the A127 heading into Southend this evening as police have shut off part of the road after a crash.
One lane is closed on the major road Southend-bound due to a crash at the junction for the A1245 and A130, according to Essex County Council traffic alerts.

AA is reporting "severe" delays of up to 25 minutes back past Nevendon and an average speed of five miles per hour.
