TWO adults, a child and a baby have been rushed to hospital as police remain on the scene of a crash in Westcliff today.
Prince Avenue was shut off this morning, after the Shell Garage, following a crash involving two cars.
Drivers reported seeing a flipped car at the scene. Long delays were reported back to Priory Crescent.
A man, woman, child and baby were taken to Southend Hospital for further assessment and treatment following the incident, the ambulance service has confirmed.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.30am to a road traffic collision near the junction of Rochester Drive and Prince Avenue on Westcliff.
“Three ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene. An adult man, adult woman, a child and a baby were transported to Southend University Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
While the closure appears to have been lifted, Essex Police say they remain on the scene.
