Seven-year-old Jax came to the Dogs Trust as a stray, so the rehoming centre doesn't know much about his history. However, he has proven to be the perfect house guest in his foster home, is fully housetrained can be left on his own up to four hours. He travels well in a car and is a friendly boy who can live with children eight years old or older, who are calm around dogs.

Kiwi, a crossbreed

KiwiKiwi (Image: Basildon Dogs Trust) Kiwi is a year-and-a-half year old who came to the rehoming centre as a stray with little history. She is a playful and very clever girl who picks things up really quickly. She can be a little nervous with handling, so her new owner would need to take it slow with her as she can get frustrated. However, she is also cuddly, calm and soppy, and would make a great companion for the right home. She can live with teenagers over 14, but no other pets.

Hannah, a pug

HannahHannah (Image: Basildon Dogs Trust) Hannah is a sweet two-year-old pug who came to Dogs Trust through no fault of her own. She can live with children eight years old and older, although she can be a bit nervous of men so will need some confidence building in this area. Hannah enjoys going out for walks and is also happy doing her own thing off-lead and playing with other dogs. She has been good being picked up at the centre and enjoys a cuddle.

Lolly, a Golden Retriever cross

LollyLolly (Image: Basildon Dogs Trust) Lolly is a three-and-a-half-year-old Golden Retriever and Pomeranian cross. She is a sweet girl with bundles of energy, so is looking for an active home. Lolly is looking for an adult-only home of a maximum of three people. She will also need her owners to be around most of the time and build up her alone time slowly. She can be reactive towards new people and other dogs, so will need to be on lead on her walks and muzzled during vet visits.

Bodhi Bodhi (Image: Basildon Dogs Trust) Thirteen-year-old Bodhi is an older gentleman looking for a family who can provide him with a loving retirement home, with teenage children who can respect his maturity. He is still young at heart when playing with his toys, especially with his favourite; tennis balls. Bodhi is a charmer and loves everybody he meets. He enjoys exploring when out and about and especially gets excited when his human companions shower him with cuddles.
