A DOG has attacked a girl in Southend who has sustained an arm injury while the dog has been seized and destroyed.
Essex Police were called to an incident at a property in Eastern Avenue, Southend, shortly after 9.35pm on Saturday August 3.
This followed reports that a dog had bitten a girl.
Thankfully the girl's injuries are not considered at this stage to be life threatening.
No arrests have been made and Essex Police's enquiries continue.
At this stage, the dog - which is not an XL bully - has been seized and destroyed.
