Eat, drink and be merry!
There are fewer finer pleasures in life than sharing laughter and good times with loved ones over a delicious meal. Perhaps pizza and friends make the perfect blend, or cake is the answer no matter the question. You could like living in the fast lane, picking up a satisfying burger on your way home from work, or grabbing a flavourful falafel if you're seeking a bit of a pick-me-up and health boost.
Maybe it's a breakfast of champions, or brunch and mimosas that tingles your tastebuds? Or who can deny, it's the classics like a hearty pasta dish, a fragrant curry or some stunning fresh seafood with some hand-cut chunky chips that get our stomachs rumbling?
Whatever your tastes savoury or sweet, spicy, or zingy, one thing we can all agree on is that good food leads to a good mood! This is why we're inviting you our beloved readers to join in with the fun and tell us all about the restaurants that set your soul on fire and that you can't go a week without visiting at least once!
Tell us about your favourite local restaurant
We're inviting you to nominate your fave foodie hotspot by entering them into our competition. All we ask is that any nominations be located within the newspaper distribution area. The closing date for nominations is August 27, 2024.
Once all nominations have been collected, the five restaurants with the most votes will go on to the next stage of the competition. Readers will once again then have the chance to vote for their favourite from the finalists in the paper only from the week commencing September 2 until October 1, 2024.
