A much-loved Hadleigh pub is welcoming pub-goers back after an extensive and modern refurbishment.

The Castle Pub, in High Street, Hadleigh, has re-opened after a four-week closure.
Boasting a brighter, new modern look, the renovation has seen the pub undergo a complete transformation.

A refreshed bar, new soft furnishings and an enhanced dining area has given the pub a new lease of life.

Excited about the pub’s refreshed look, general manager, Una Green, said: “We are thrilled to reveal The Castle’s new look to our guests.

“Whether you are looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look  but with the same sizzle we have always had.”

For the food-lovers, new additions to the menu feature an array of dishes such as an indulgent “Laying it on Chick Burger”, the tempting Tandoori Chicken sizzling skillet, and the mammoth-sized “Giant Gyros”.

To top it off, patrons can share a “dessert sharer”, which boasts not two, but three of the menu’s favourite desserts.

The Castle also offers a range of activities.

Sports enthusiasts can cheer their teams on across various channels including BT, Sky, TNT, and Amazon Prime.

A flourishing gamers group meets up at the pub every Tuesday, playing a mix of games, including RPG and strategy board games.

The Castle also serves as a hub for local community events, housing monthly meetings for a regular book club, the local RAF group, and few other community groups.
