After almost a week at the end of Southend Pier, the Galeón Andalucía has departed and here are some photos from its visit to the city.
The Galeón Andalucía is a stunning replica of a 16th-18th century Spanish galleon which sails majestically on the ocean.
This floating museum has six decks rimming with fascinating exhibits and displays.
Over the past week, visitors were able to carry out self-guided walking tour, with the freedom to wander the decks.
Families were also able to interact with the crew members who live aboard, and explore dozens of interactive exhibits, videos, projections, and historical documents.
It provided a memorable day out and an exciting adventure for many families across Southend.
