A BUDGET airline has unveiled its largest ever "Christmas markets programme" from Stansted Airport including a new destination.
In response to strong demand for "enormously popular" Christmas market getaways, Jet 2 has launched its biggest festive programme to date from Stansted Airport, with trips on sale to three Christmas Market destinations.
Sprinkling plenty of festive cheer into the winter 25/26 programme, the airline will operate a new mini-series of dedicated trips to Krakow, Poland, from the Essex airport for the first time in winter 2025.
It will provide up to twice weekly services on Thursday and Sunday from November 27 to December 21 next winter.
In addition, Jet2 will also operate a mini-series of flights and city breaks to Prague in the Czech Republic and Vienna in Austria.
Flights to Prague will be on Mondays and Fridays from November 28 2025 to Janaury 5 2026, while trips to Vienna will be on the same days from November 21 2025, up to the same end date.
Steve Heapy, CEO for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Customers have never had so much choice and, as more people look to escape to a winter wonderland next winter and take advantage of all the fantastic benefits provided by Jet2, we know that our Winter 25/26 Christmas Markets collection will be as popular as ever.
“We look forward to taking customers to these magical destinations next year and helping them to feel their most festive.”
Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include flights with 22kg hold luggage and 10kg cabin luggage, as well as a choice of two-to-five star hotels in central locations, providing the perfect base from which to explore and experience the best Christmas market destinations in Europe.
Ciaran Brannigan, commercial director at Stansted, said: “We’re delighted that Jet2 has launched its Christmas markets programme with trips to Krakow, Prague and Vienna, which I’m sure will prove a huge hit with passengers flying from Stansted next winter.”
