Are you a true film buff or like to head to the cinema every once in a while? With National Cinema Day just around the corner, popular brands are offering visitors cheap tickets to celebrate.
From Showcase to Cineworld, filmgoers can make savings on tickets and refreshments.
National Cinema Day will take place on Saturday, August 31 and will see offers available across the UK.
National Cinema Day offers for filmgoers
Showcase
If you’re heading to a Showcase Cinemas branch on August 31, you can look forward to a film for just £4 for one day only.
Ticket prices have been cut to £4 with new films such as the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel It Ends with Us, all the terror in space with Alien: Romulus or the Minions who are still causing mayhem in the latest instalment of the Despicable Me franchise, Despicable Me 4.
Customers can also get a small popcorn and drink for £6, making a trip to the cinema £10, including the £4 ticket price.

National Cinema Day is a great event celebrated annually, giving film fans the chance to enjoy all the latest blockbusters for a special, one day only price.

Odeon
Odeon cinemas are also offering a discounted ticket price for film fans on August 31 for one day only.
Tickets will be £4 when bought at a cinema and £5 when booked online as this will include a £1 booking fee.
You can watch all the latest releases including Deadpool & Wolverine, Despicable Me 4, It Ends With Us and more.
Customers can also get a regular popcorn and regular drink for £6 if they pre-order the special combo online or on the myOdeon app between August 25 and 30 when booking their tickets.
You can then collect your popcorn and drink at the cinema on August 31.

Cineworld
Those visiting Cineworld can get a similar offer as tickets to see all films will be available for £4 all day on August 31 only, including on a variety of screens – IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen.
Customers can also get a regular popcorn and regular drink for £6 or upgrade to large for an extra £1.

Vue
Tickets for films at Vue cinemas only on August 31 will also be available for £4 but those booking online will be charged an extra 90p booking fee. Terms and conditions can be found on the Vue website.
The offer is available for all seating options, including in 3D and IMAX screenings in Vue cinemas across the UK.

Film fans can watch any film on the day for £4 with Vue offering new and old films including Deadpool & Wolverine, Alien: Romulus and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).
Customers can look forward to trying Coca-Cola’s new flavour drink called The Fan Favourite.
It’s a combination of cherry and vanilla and is available at selected venues which are all listed on the Vue website.
