Southend Council has announced an open opportunity for contractors to bid on the internal refurbishment works at Shoebury Leisure Centre.
The project aims to enhance the facilities at the popular community centre.
With a contract value of £50,000, the council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to carry out the necessary refurbishment work.
The contract is set to commence on October 28 and is expected to be completed by November 22.
The refurbishment is part of the council's ongoing commitment to improving public facilities within the city, ensuring that amenities like Shoebury Leisure Centre continue to meet the needs of residents.
The works will include floor-laying and covering, wall-covering and wallpapering work as well as painting work.
