POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car drove over a person's foot and left it broken near Cliffs Pavilion after a concert.

Police received a report of a crash on San Remo Parade in Westcliff at around 10.15pm last Wednesday, where a car mounted the pavement and drove over a member of the public’s foot.

The member of the public was taken to hospital after sustaining a broken foot.

The crash occurred close to the Cliffs Pavilion following a concert.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or have any CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us, quoting incident 1485960.
