This weekend's weather in Southend and Basildon will bring a mix of sunshine and clouds, according to the Met Office.
On Saturday, both Southend and Basildon will enjoy sunny intervals in the morning, with temperatures reaching a comfortable 23°C.
The skies are expected to become partly cloudy by the evening, though no significant rain is forecast for either location.
Sunday will follow a similar pattern with sunny spells in the morning and highs around 22°C.
However, as the day progresses, both areas will see an increase in cloud cover by the afternoon and evening.
Despite the clouds, rain remains unlikely throughout the day, making it an ideal weekend for outdoor activities.
The temperatures will remain mild, with overnight lows around 14°C to 16°C.
