Residents living in Hockley are facing an "unplanned water outage" as a result of essential works for the next hour.
Brackendale Close in Hockley and surrounding roads, including Merryfields Avenue, Claysprings Close and Marylands Avenue, are facing "disruption" with their water supplies.
An Essex and Suffolk Water spokesman said: "We are carrying out essential work in your area which may affect water supplies.
"We expect to be finished by 12:30pm.
"Please note, during this time you may experience no water or low pressure.
"If you are experiencing discolouration, please go to our discoloured water page for help.
"Thanks for your patience."
